March 27 – 29 BAYOU CITY ART FESTIVAL Houson, TX April 9 – 12 MAIN ST FORTH WORTH ARTS FESTIVAL Fort Worth, TX April 18 – 19 FIESTA ARTS FAIR San Antonio, TX April 24 – 26 ART IN THE SQUARE Southlake, TX
There is still lots of snow on the ground here and as I head south, I enjoy being catapulted into spring, especially to arrive to the blossoming wildflowers and trees. I have added two new shows in Texas and I am really looking forward to exhibiting in them.
At the BAYOU CITY ART FESTIVAL MEMORIAL PARK I will be in Booth #67. At the MAIN ST FORTH WORTH ARTS FESTIVAL you can find me in Booth #729. At the FIESTA ARTS FAIR I will be at the Southwest School of the Arts – Ursuline Campus At the ART IN THE SQUARE I will be in Booth #C10. Posted above is my etching of sunlight spilling through cedar branches and onto a cluster of ferns. I love the contrast and colours in it and it certainly gets me primed for spring. Title: Forest Grove, Framed Size: 30 x 40 inches, Medium: Etching and aquatint with watercolour. Looking forward to seeing you. With best wishes, George I was happy to receive this VIP purchase award at the Toronto Artist Project last weekend (see below). In spite of the snow storm on Saturday it was a good show and it’s so nice to be able to exhibit close to home. I’m off to my Texas shows in three weeks and just finishing up some new large etchings to take with me. I’ll post them when I get them done. The days are longer now and the bitter deep freeze here has eased somewhat. Today the sun feels a bit warmer and it is a perfect day for a long dog walk with Leo, seen sitting patiently at the top of our driveway, ready to go. ARTIST PROJECT – Contemporary Art Fair |
