Each unframed image comes with a 2" paper border.
When I was doing a drawn line etching of lichen and moss on some rocks, I started at the bottom and worked my way up. When I got half way up I thought it looked great, almost like a wave contained in the oval. So I stopped at that point and hand pulled some prints from the plate before continuing to the finished etching which I called Continuation.

All etchings displayed on this site are all created by me in my Millbrook, Ontario studio.
Each etching plate is hand inked, wiped, and printed on Arches Cover 270 gsm acid-free 100% rag etching paper using my manual Praga etching press.
The etching inks used are from Graphic Chemical & Ink Co. in Chicago and from Charbonnel Inks in France.
All of my prints are limited editions.
Unframed etchings can be sent flat (smaller images) or gently rolled in sturdy mailing tubes that ensure they arrive in good condition.
