I don?t make out to the west coast to hike trough these centuries old moss enveloped forests as often as I would like. Walking through them is tough going as the forest floor is often many feet below the layers of fallen trees and lush undergrowth I have to clamber over. In these rich green forests where light beams occasionally penetrate the ancient stumps become totem spirits from the past.
An original etching, aquatint and watercolour.
All etchings displayed on this site are all created by me in my Millbrook, Ontario studio.
Each etching plate is hand inked, wiped, and printed on Arches Cover 270 gsm acid-free 100% rag etching paper using my manual Praga etching press.
The etching inks used are from Graphic Chemical & Ink Co. in Chicago and from Charbonnel Inks in France.
All of my prints are limited editions.
Unframed etchings can be sent flat (smaller images) or gently rolled in sturdy mailing tubes that ensure they arrive in good condition.
Note: All payments with a U.S. Dollar card will automatically be converted by your bank into Canadian Dollars which will be 20-25% less than the amount showing at checkout.
