I did a series of etchings of a nearby trout creek called Baxter Creek which flows through a natural protected area I was instrumental in saving. They were done over a period of years and in every season. They brought me closer to the importance of nature in our lives.
Each image comes with a 2" paper border.
All etchings displayed on this site are all created by me in my Millbrook, Ontario studio.
Each etching plate is hand inked, wiped, and printed on Arches Cover 270 gsm acid-free 100% rag etching paper using my manual Praga etching press.
The etching inks used are from Graphic Chemical & Ink Co. in Chicago and from Charbonnel Inks in France.
All of my prints are limited editions.
Unframed etchings can be sent flat (smaller images) or gently rolled in sturdy mailing tubes that ensure they arrive in good condition.
Baxter Creek is a beautiful cold water trout creek near my studio. I was inspired seeing spring sun lighting the foliage.
