I am happy to let you know that I will be back to the South University Art Fair in Ann Arbor this coming weekend. I’ve had a busy exhibition season having most recently come back from Denver. As challenging as these outdoor fine art exhibitions can be, I relish the opportunity in my travels to explore alternate back roads where I can easily pull over and make U-turns to gather more images for potential etchings. I also really enjoy connecting with people across the country who are interested in art. It’s been an unusually rainy summer so far in Millbrook and I’ve posted a picture I’ve just taken of the front of my studio. The vines are especially happy and invigorated this year, obscuring my windows and my second floor doorway. Nevertheless, no complaints. I love it. I’m also including a photo of the colourful laneway leading to my studio. At the top is my etching On The Beach, and below the photos is an etching of our local Baxter Creek.
