Upcoming Show:Art Birmingham, Saturday May 13th, Sunday May 14th Shain Park, Birmingham, Michigan Spring greetings from my Millbrook Studio. The sun has finally come out after three days of rain and I can almost hear a collective sigh of relief from everyone in our village. The high water levels are coming down and as soon as it warms up the flowers will open and the trees will leaf out. It’s a such a wonderful time of the year especially after a long winter. I’ve posted a picture of our Magnolia tree, every spring the squirrels eat most of the flower buds before they have a chance to bloom, nevertheless it’s the first to flower on our property so we love it, even if it looks a little tattered with just a few flowers. Notice the little chickadee on a branch in the middle? I am recently back from a successful trip to Texas and here’s a picture of me with the Jury Award I was happy to receive. I’m standing beside a flamboyant show Director and I’m not quite sure who that pink phone connects to. This weekend I will be exhibiting at Art Birmingham in Birmingham Michigan. My booth number is 69 and is located at my regular spring location on Martin Street at Pierce across from Townhouse.
Here’s a link for more show information http://www.theguild.org/fairs/art-birmingham/ As always, I look forward to seeing my artist friends and the many collectors who have purchased my etchings over the years. Best wishes, George. Comments are closed.
